Paddy Power ambassador Phil Thompson is fresh face and bright eyed ahead of Sunday’s first televised clash in the Premier League. It’s Arsenal v Leeds in a game that just feels right in the Premier League.
The Gunners are going for Champions League football while their visitors are desperate for points in their fight against the drop. Who’s going to be leaving The Emirates the happiest on Sunday? Here’s Thommo’s Arsenal v Leeds tips.
TV: Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League
Arsenal are back in form and they’ve won their last three Premier League games, scoring nine goals. However, before that, they’d lost three in a row!
The race for the top four is wide open and third place could be up for grabs if Chelsea’s dip continues.
I fancy Arsenal to win on Sunday but Leeds have been on a good run. They were unbeaten in five games before their defeat against Manchester City last weekend.
However, Leeds’ defence is a major issue. They have the worst defensive record in the league this season. They’ve let in 72 goals.
I like Arsenal to Win and I reckon it’ll be a comfortable game for the Gunners. If I had to pick a scoreline, I’d go 3-0 to Arsenal.
Bukayo Saka to Score Anytime is also a solid bet. He’s been brilliant this season under Mikel Arteta and he’s usually Arsenal’s biggest goal threat.
