7pm: Porto v Vizela – Porto to Win both Halves

After messing up last Monday in a surprise 1-0 away loss to Braga, Porto can rest one hand on the Primeira Liga title with a win over Vizela here. Their superior goal difference over Sporting should ensure it but it’s football and anything can happen. Either way, Porto have won four of their last five in all competitions, losing the other and, on home soil in the league, have won three and drawn two, scoring a very healthy 17, conceding just three.

The hosts have kept three clean sheets over those five matches and have kept four over their last five at home in all competitions. With stats like that we’d be tempted to go with a Win to Nil bet here but the thing is Vizela have scored in eight of their last 10 on the road. Some better stats are that Porto have won the First Half in 11 of their 15 home league games and 10 Second Halves at home too so we’re getting some mighty value here backing Porto to Win Both Halves.

7.45pm: Spezia v Lazio – Lazio to Win & BTTS

TV: BT Sport 1

Eight points above the relegation zone, Spezia look safe for another Serie A season next term but the pressure here will be on Lazio who are chasing the final Europa League spot for next season. The hosts have won just one of their last five in the league, drawing and losing one apiece while on home turf have won two and lost three. Lazio have won two, drawn one and lost two of their last five and on their Serie A trips have won three, drawn one and lost one.

The travelling side smashed the Aquilotti 6-1 in the reverse fixture earlier this season and won both of their prior games too. There’s little doubt they should win here too but the home side rarely go a home game without scoring, netting at least one in eight of their last 10 and Lazio’s have only kept two clean sheets over their last 10 on the road meaning the value here is in backing the visitors to take the three points and both teams scoring.

8pm: Rennes v St Etienne – Rennes Win & Over 2.5 Goals

TV: BT Sport 2

With four games to go it’s rather unlikely that Rennes will have enough gas in the tank to catch Marseille above them in second, their priority will actually be remaining in third as only five points separate themselves and Lens down in seventh. St Etienne occupy the relegation playoff place in 18th but only four points separate themselves from Angers in 14th so there are plenty of other clubs who can take their place should they take the three points here.

Bruno Genesio Rennes

Rennes have won two, drawn one and lost two of their last five Ligue 1 fixtures but their home form is very impressive with four wins and one loss, scoring 19 and conceding five. The visiting side have won just one of their last five league clashes, drawing one and losing three while their away trips have seen them winning one, drawing two and losing two. Little doubt Rennes will win here and with Over 2.5 goals landing in four of their last five at home and four of the visitor’s last five on the road as well, the best value here is in backing the hosts to win and overs landing yet again.

8pm: Athletic Bilbao v Atletico Madrid – Both Teams to Score

TV: LaLigaTV

Atletico can overtake Sevilla in third place should they take the spoils here, Bilbao aren’t really playing for much for the rest of the season as they’ve a bit too far behind now to make it into the European places for next season. The hosts are in decent form though and have only lost in one of their last five meetings at home against los Colchoneros. Of their last five La Liga games they’ve won two, drawn two and lost one while at home have won three, drawn one and lost one.

Atletico have won just one of their last five in all competitions but their La Liga form has seen them winning three, drawing one and losing one with their away trips seeing them winning three and losing two of their five most recent matches. With both teams in robust form then we need to go with a Both Teams to Score bet here.

8.30pm: Salt Lake v LA Galaxy – LA Win/Draw Double Chance

TV: Sky Sports Football

Real Salt Lake have had a disastrous few weeks, going winless over all six of their most previous fixtures in all competitions while over their last five MLS games have drawn three and lost two. Their three home league games this season haven’t been bad though, winning two and drawing one.

LA Galaxy have won four and drawn one of their last five in all competitions with their MLS form reading as three wins, one draw and one loss and have won two, drawn one and lost one over their four away MLS games so far this season. While the hosts have been decent at home their recent form is terrible so we’re going with the away side here on the Double Chance; LA Galaxy or Draw.
