Liverpool were due to host Manchester United at Anfield on Sunday, March 20 but the fixture had to be postponed due to the Reds playing their FA Cup quarter-final tie against Nottingham Forest that weekend.
Tuesday, April 19 was one of the few dates on the calendar that the match could be rearranged for due to the fact Liverpool continue to be involved in the Champions League.
