THOMMO: I’ve looked at this, and I was looking at the stats, and it’s hard to split them – I don’t think there’s gonna be a lot in it.
This City side are the best home goal scorers, with 40 goals. Liverpool are the best away scorers, with 38 goals, so you’d like to think there’s gonna be goals, but it’s hard to split them, the stats are all there.
Liverpool have already won three more points than the did the whole of last season, so everything looks great. Buy you look at City, they’ve won eight of their past nine at home in the Premier League, so it’s hard to split these to sides.
I would love to come up with a win for Liverpool, but its two great, great sides. I am for once going to sit on the fence with it, I do see both teams scoring, again Liverpool do have a great forward line, but City always find a way, so I’ll go for a 1-1 draw.
Going for goalscorers, Mo Salah has scored in his last three games against Man City, and Kevin De Bruyne is in fine form.
So I’ve gone for 1-1, and with those two players to score.
