Man Utd to Win

Manchester United travel to Everton on Saturday afternoon in what has fast become the Premier League’s banter club derby. Both seem hell-bent to out-embarrass one another this season, with each club plumbing new depths with astounding regularity.

United were insipid in their 1-1 draw with Leicester last weekend, but that was nothing compared to Everton’s humiliating 3-2 defeat at Burnley on Wednesday, accounting for 12% of all Burnley goals this season.

Frank Lampard has overseen seven defeats out of nine since he took the reins at Goodison Park at the end of January, with Everton now just one point above the bottom three as the league enters the business end.

United, on the other hand, have won just three of their last eight league games in a wretched run of results that sees their Champions League hopes hanging by a thread. However, even they should expect to beat a hapless Everton side.

Both Teams to Score

You would be hard-pressed to find a Premier League game more likely to produce a winning both teams to score bet than this clash at Goodison on Saturday afternoon. United and Everton boast two of the most fragile defences in the league, with United conceding 41 goals in 30 league games and Everton conceding an astounding 52 goals in 29 games.

Both sides rank in the bottom six in terms of shots on target faced in the league this season, with United facing an average of 4.83 shots on target per game and Everton five per game.

Everton have managed one clean sheet in their last six games, conceding a staggering 14 goals in that period, while United have conceded nine goals in their last five games, also managing just one clean sheet in the process.

Each of the last five clashes between United and Everton and The Toffees have produced winning both teams to score bets and it would be hugely surprising if Saturday’s game was any different.

Jadon Sancho Anytime Assist

Like pretty much every United player, Jadon Sancho produced an underwhelming performance in the 1-1 draw with Leicester last weekend, but the English winger has arguably been United’s best player over the past two months.

Sancho has scored twice and assisted three times in his last eight league games, while his general performances have also improved significantly.

It has been a difficult debut season at Old Trafford, but he appears to have finally found his feet.

Sancho averages 1.4 key passes per game – the third-best average for a United player in the league – and can help unlock a porous Everton defence on Saturday afternoon.

Richarlison to Score Anytime

Richarlison scored twice from the penalty spot at Turf Moor on Wednesday night to briefly give Everton a vital lead against Burnley. The Brazilian forward also registered an assist in Everton’s defeat to West Ham at the weekend and scored three goals in two games for Brazil during the March international break.

He is the most likely Everton player to get on the scoresheet against United on Saturday and Everton will need him firing on all cylinders if they are to avoid an unthinkable relegation. Richarlison last scored against United in a 4-0 victory in April 2019 and while Everton are unlikely to record a similar result on Saturday, he should fancy his chances of getting on the scoresheet once again.
