19:45 Peterborough vs Luton: Luton to Win

Sky Sports Red Button

Peterborough’s form has somewhat improved of late. The Posh had been on a run of 11 games without a single win until a short while ago but over their last five have won one, drawn two and lost two. At London Road, though, things are not good as they’ve now gone eight games without a win, losing three and drawing two of their last five at home in the league.

Luton’s form is quite good with three wins, one draw and one loss over their last five league encounters and a win here would put them in third position. Their away form isn’t quite as good with three wins and two losses but, in facing a side who have gone so long without a home win, the value is in backing the visitors here.

19:45 Sheffield United vs QPR: Sheffield United to Win and Over 1.5 Goals

Sky Sports Red Button

The home side come into this Championship clash as short-odds favourites, largely thanks to QPR’s awful run of late. Rangers have won just one of their last five in the league, losing all four of the others. A silver lining, though, is that they at least scored in four of those five games. Their away league form reads the same, however they only managed to score in two of their last five on their travels.

Paul Heckingbottom’s Blades have won two of their last five league matches, drawing one and losing two but their stats at Bramall Lane are very impressive. On home turf they’re undefeated over their last 10 while they’ve four and drawn one of their last five, keeping three clean sheets in the process and scoring at least two in six of their last nine. The Blades to Win to Nil is a tempting price here but QPR have been scoring in their overall matches as mentioned earlier so the better bet here is Sheffield United to Win and Over 1.5 Goals.

20:00 Benfica vs Liverpool:  Liverpool to Win & Both Teams to Score

BT Sport 3

Liverpool are massive favourites to win the first leg of this Champions League quarter-final clash but Benfica are in decent form and are always strong on home soil. The hosts have only lost two of their last 10 games at the Estadio da Luz, winning three and drawing two of their last five. Their home Champions League record is strong, too, with just two losses over their last 10 games, winning three, drawing one and losing one over their last five.

Liverpool have won four and lost one of their last five fixtures while their away form has seen them winning seven in-a-row, not including the League Cup final played at Wembley that ended in a penalty shootout victory for the Reds. Their away record in the European Cup has seen Jurgen Klopp’s side losing just two of their last 10 and have won four and lost one of their last five.

The away side have been keeping opposition attackers quiet of late, conceding just one goal over their last five in all competitions but their away record in the Champions League has seen them chalk up just two clean sheets over their last seven away fixtures on the European stage. With Benfica scoring in all but one of their home European games this season, we see them scoring here but Liverpool’s experience and stronger attacking players should see them taking a lead back to Anfield for the second leg. We’re backing Liverpool to Win & Both Teams to Score here.

20:00 Man City vs Atletico Madrid: Both Teams to Score

BT Sport 1

This one has the makings of a classic. Both sides come into this clash in mighty form, City have won five of their last seven fixtures, drawing the other two while Atletico have won seven of their last eight matches, drawing the other one. City’s home form has seen them win three of their last five, drawing and losing one apiece while Los Colchoneros have won four and lost one of their last five on their travels.

The hosts have conceded in four of their last six home Champions League matches, winning five of them and drawing the other while the visitors have won four of their last seven away games in the competition, drawing one and losing two but have scored in five of those seven games. City should come out on top on the balance of form but you can never dismiss Diego Simeone’s side and with both teams in fine goal-scoring form we’re getting some great odds here for Both Teams to Score occurring.
