Paddy Power ambassador and former England international Phil Thompson is looking forward to Thursday’s action in the Premier League. It’s Everton v Newcastle United.
Both sides come into the game after losing one goal to nil over the weekend. Everton lost at home to Wolves, whilst Newcastle succumbed to a last minute Havertz winner against Chelsea. But Newcastle are in good form and Everton couldn’t look much worse. Thommo previews how he thinks the sides will respond when Newcastle travel to Goodison Park on Thursday night.

THOMMO: Everton had two games this week they thought could get them out of trouble. They lost one of them against Wolves at the weekend, and now they’re playing against Newcastle on Thursday. The Toon will be disappointed with the 89th-minute winner for Chelsea last weekend.
I do fancy Everton to get a point. They’ve got to stop the rot.
I’m going for Both Teams To Score in this one.
Goalscorers-wise. Richarlison, possibly for Everton, and Chris Wood I fancy for Newcastle.
