Galatasaray vs Barcelona: Barcelona to Win & BTTS

TV: BT Sport Extra 3, 5.45pm.

Barcelona got their tactics wrong against Galatasaray in their first leg and needed to bring on four first-teamers in the second half in their push for a win. Galatasaray remained solid though and they saw out a hard-fought 0-0. The away side are obviously the favourites here with the market and are in good form having won seven of their last 10 in all competitions, drawing the other three. Away from home they’ve won four of their last five, drawing the other, scoring 13 and conceding six, keeping just one clean sheet over those five games.

The hosts have won three of their last five fixtures, drawing one and losing one. Their home form isn’t great though with just two wins, one draw and two losses over their five most previous fixtures at the NEF Stadyumu. They have though scored nine over their last five on home soil and with Barcelona’s leaky defence consistently conceding in their away games we have to look at a Both Teams to Score bet. Saying that, Barcelona will play their best XI here after their frustrating showing in the first leg and should have enough to see them qualify. Decent value then to be found in the Barcelona to Win & BTTS market here.

Lyon vs Porto: BTTS & Over 2.5 Goals

TV: BT Sport Extra 3, 8pm.

Lyon take a 1-0 lead into the second leg of this Europa League Last 16 clash. The French side have won two of their last five fixtures, drawing one and losing one while their home form has seen them winning three and losing two, scoring seven and conceding six. Porto have won three of their last five in all competitions, drawing one and losing one but their away form is simply outstanding with nine wins over their last 10 away trips, drawing the other one, scoring 10 over their last five while conceding five.

With those stats we should see a ding-dong match here, Porto should win it on the balance of recent form but Lyon at home cannot be easily dismissed, both should score at least one then but we see at least a third being scored too so we’re backing BTTS and Over 2.5 Goals here.

West Ham vs Sevilla: Halftime Draw

TV: BT Sport 2, 8pm.

West Ham trail 0-1 on aggregate going into the second leg here, their form has really stuttered of late, winning just three of their last 10 fixtures. At the London Stadium things are better though, the Irons have won three of their last five clashes played there, drawing one and losing one. Sevilla’s recent form has seen them winning two of their last five, drawing two and losing one and their away form wouldn’t exactly fill their fans with confidence as they’ve drawn four of their last five on the road, losing the other one.

Everyone knows of Sevilla’s prowess in the Europa League and being a goal up they’re likely to try and defend that lead and try and steal a goal as time ticks down. Over 2.5 goals has only landed in two of West Ham’s last five at home and in none of Sevilla’s last five away games but the odds for Unders are a wee bit too low for us here. Looking further into the stats we can see that the hosts have only scored two First Half goals over their last five at home with the visitors scoring just one over their last five away trips. The Halftime Draw price offers some very nice value.

Roma vs Vitesse: Roma to Win to Nil

TV: BT Sport ESPN, 8pm.

Roma are quite obviously favourites to win here over the 90 minutes but only take a 1-0 lead into this Europa Conference League second leg match. Jose Mourinho’s side are in strong form of late, they’ve unbeaten over their last six games, winning three and drawing three. At the Stadio Olimpico they’ve won three and drawn two, scoring seven and conceded three, keeping three clean sheets over those five encounters.

Vitesse have won just two of their last five, drawing two and losing one and their away form is pretty bad with two draws and three losses where they scored just two and conceded 11. Armed with those stats we have to go with Roma to Win to Nil here.
