This weekend it’s a mightly comedown from the glory of a memorable Champions League night at the Bernabeu to a battle at the basement of the Premier League. But fear not, Thommo’s found a couple of punts for a huge relegation six-pointer between Brentford and Burnley. Let’s get down to business…

3pm: Brentford v Burnley

TV: Premier Sports (Ireland only)

This is a big one and both teams will want to try and get the three points. Burnley are in the relegation zone, Brentford don’t want to drop any further down the table.

It was a big win for Brentford against Norwich last weekend, with Ivan Toney back scoring a hat-trick. It will give him and Brentford confidence coming towards the business end.

They’ve lost eight of the last 10 in all competitions, Brentford, so they’ve got to be careful. That win against Norwich will give them a timely boost. Burnley were starting to come good but if you look at it they lost against Chelsea which was absolutely devastating for them, 4-0 at home.

They’ve won just three of 26 Premier League games so you can guess where I’m going. I think it’s going to be awfully tight and I’m going for a slight, 1-0 Brentford Win.

I’m expecting Ivan Toney to Score Anytime and continue the good work he did at Norwich.
