Paddy Power ambassador Phil Thompson is back, bright eyed and bushy tailed ahead of the final Premier League match of another jam-packed weekend. It is, of course, West Ham v Wolves at the London Stadium at 2pm on Sunday.
It’s a meeting of two teams who have been going great guns this season and they sit 6th and 7th in the top flight respectively. Both have European ambitions but something’s got to give. Who’s taking the spoils? Let’s see what Thommo thinks with his West Ham v Wolves tips.
TV: Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League
I’m looking at this and West Ham have scored in all home Premier League games this season. Do you know the only other team to do it? Liverpool Football Club. It was Aston Villa as well until last week then they got beat 1-0 at home by Watford.
That’s a good record and it shows they do like playing at their home ground and they do score goals. Wolves have been creeping back in there, they’ve got a great defence and it’s only Manchester City and Liverpool with a better defence.
I don’t think there’s going to be a lot of goals in this. Wolves have won six out of their last eight so it’s two teams in relatively good form. West Ham have not been in great form but at home they’ve always got a chance.
Football Tips: Thommo’s great 8/1 punt for West Ham v Wolves on Sunday
Just one game in the Premier League on Sunday so let's make it a winning one.
