But as we’ve seen, this Atletico Madrid side, they’re the massive spoilers of European football. I know their stats aren’t as good this season but even against Osasuna on Saturday they won 3-0 but the stats show that Osasuna had 14 shots to Atletico’s five!
Atletico Madrid only had 37% of possession but won 3-0. They’re sitting 5th on 42 points. I know what this lot are like and we’ve had a close up of it. The stadium will be rattling, it will be something different than what a lot of these United players are used to.

I know a lot of them will say, ‘I’ve played for my country,’ and all this. This place is just incredible. Diego Simeone is like an absolute raving lunatic on the touchline, arms going, getting everybody fired up.
It is different. You can see where I’m coming from with this game and these are the big spoilers. I think Manchester Untied have been better, how they handled the conditions against Leeds, I thought it was very, very good. But they still concede goals no matter which way they come.
