Paddy Power ambassador Phil Thompson has shown his trademark stamina and he’s back one last time this weekend to take a look at the final game on Sunday, Wolves v Leicester. The hosts are going great guns under Bruno Lage but The Foxes are all over the shop at the moment.
WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS
They did win during the week but had been in pretty shambolic form prior to that. What does our talismanic captain make of this match, then? Here’s his Wolves v Leicester tips which, by the way, were recorded before Leicester’s game on Thursday.
4.30pm: Wolves v Leicester
TV: Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League
You’re looking at Leicester and they’ve got to improve. Brendan Rodgers is having a difficult time, [before Thursday night] they’ve not won any of their last five games in all competitions and had lost their last three, not won in five away in the Premier League.
It doesn’t look good. They’re the only side not to keep an away clean sheet in the Premier League this season, so you do expect Wolves to score. Let me tell you something, in the last five meetings between these two sides there’s only been two goals.

It’s not going to be a goal fest. So, I have gone for a very slim score line because of that improvement in Wolves, they don’t score a bagful of goals and they don’t concede many goals.
They’re the 3rd-lowest scorers in the Premier League with only 21. There’s only Burnley and Norwich who have scored fewer. They’ve only conceded 17 goals and it’s only Manchester City on 14 with less.
I’ve gone for the slimmest Win for Wolverhampton Wanderers, 1-0. Someone who’s shown improvement, and it’s great that he’s coming back to form, is Raul Jimenez. I think he will score. I was going to go anytime but as it’s only going to be 1-0 it’s got to be Jimenez to Score First.
