Our footie tipster Paddy Murphy has a fab foursome in mind.

Saturday night’s footballing action has us looking for value in Spain where we have the Seville derby between Betis and Sevilla who occupy third and second in the La Liga table respectively. We’ll be looking at Estoril taking on relegation-threatened Arouca in Portugal’s Primeira Liga while in France’s Ligue Un, leaders PSG face Brest on home soil and finally, getting us started we have Juventus taking on Udinese. We’ve gone mad into the stats here and found a value-busting Acca, so let’s see what we’ve found.

19.45: Juventus v Udinese – Juventus to Win and Over 2.5 Goals

Juventus are slowly creeping back up the Serie A table of late although without a regular goalscorer leading the line they’re likely to make a move for someone in the transfer window this month. Of their five most recent games in all competitions they’ve won three and drawn two (losing one in Extra Time). Of their five most recent Serie A games, the Old Lady has won three and drawn two and at the Juventus Stadium have won three of their last five, drawing one and losing one, scoring six and conceding just two.

Udinese have only beaten Juve once over their last 10 attempts as the away side and their recent Serie A form on the road has seen them only winning two of their last 10. Of their last five, they’ve won one, drawing one and losing three, scoring 10 and conceding 11. That Udinese goals record could well see them causing a spot of trouble here and Both Teams to Score has occurred in three of Juve’s last five in the league. The hosts have the superior form to come out on top though so we’re backing them to win and Over 2.5 goals here.

20.00: PSG v Brest – Both Teams to Score

PSG currently stand 11 points ahead of Nice and look unstoppable as they bound on towards yet another Ligue Un title. They’ve won three of their last five in all competitions, drawing the other two but their league form has only seen them winning one and drawing the other four. However, at home the Parisians have won four of their last five, drawing the other, scoring nine and conceding three.

Brest’s away league form is very good, winning three of their last five, drawing the other two, scoring eight and conceding five with BTTS landing in five of those games and also in three of PSG’s last five at home. Brest won’t have much to fear here, three of their main attacking threat; Messi and Neymar and Di Maria are all out, as is their regular goalkeeper Donnarumma. Both Teams to Score has the best value here.

20.30: Estoril v Arouca – Both Teams to Score

Neither of these sides come into this Primeira Liga encounter in great shape. The home side have won just one of their last five in all competitions, drawing one and losing three. Their home league form is slightly better, they’ve been difficult to beat at home drawing four of their last five, losing the other one.

Arouca have won none of their last five games, drawing one and losing four while on their league travels have drawn three and lost two of their last five. They are scoring however and BTTS has landed in four of those games and with BTTS and Over 2.5 goals landing in four and five of Estoril’s last five at home we have back that trend to continue.

20.30: Betis v Sevilla – Over 1.5 Second Half Goals

With both teams occupying two of the top three La Liga places there’s quite a bit of excitement around Seville for what will be the 126th meeting between these old city rivals. Betis though have a truly terrible record at home to Sevilla and haven’t beaten their neighbours since 2006 on home soil. In more recent fixtures, the visitors have come away as winners in three of the last six with the other three ending level, BTTS landing in four of those six, Overs in three.

Both teams do the majority of the grunt work in the second period of play, Los Verdiblancos have scored 10 SH goals at home this season in the league with the visitors landing six SH goals over their away games. We’re likely to see a cagey start here, Sevilla like to dig in and frustrate home sides when playing away and Betis have only scored a FH goal in two of their last five at the Estadio Benito Villamarin. With those stats we think the price for Over 1.5 SH goals has some mighty value at the current odds.
