Tuesday night’s Acca has us looking for value in Cup competitions occurring in England and France. The big match of the day sees reigning Ligue Un champions Lille taking on Lens in the Coupe de France. In England we’ll be diving into the Last 16 of the EFL Trophy where Oldham host Wigan, Bolton travel to Hartlepool and kicking us off Charlton welcome MK Dons to the Valley. Let’s dig in then and find some value picks.

19.00: Charlton v MK Dons – Over 2.5 Goals

An all-League One clash here where the home side come into it as favourites, although still priced a bit above Evens. Charlton have won three of their last five games in all competitions, losing the other two. On home soil they’ve won four of their last five, losing the other, scoring at least two goals in four of those five games.

MK Dons have won one, drawn three (winning one on penalties) and lost one over their last five across all competitions. Looking at their away form only, they’ve won two, drawn two (winning one on penalties and losing the other in Extra Time) and lost one, scoring nine goals with Over 2.5 goals registering in three of those five. With both teams in decent form then over their respective home/away games we’re going for Over 2.5 goals.

19.00: Hartlepool v Bolton – Under 2.5 Goals

A League Two vs League One affair here with the away side coming into this as the favourites. The hosts have won two, drawn two and lost one over their last five in all competitions while at Victoria Park, the Monkey Hangers have won just one of their last five, drawing two and losing two. They’ve only scored five over their last five at home and two of those games saw them leaving the field scoreless.

Boltons aren’t in good shape at all. They’ve won one of their last five, drawing one and losing three, while on the road have lost four of their last five, drawing one and losing it in Extra Time. Worst of all, they only scored four goals over those five games and were scoreless in three of them. With both sides struggling to hit even barndoors of late we have to go with Unders here.

Leam Richardson Wigan

19.00: Oldham v Wigan – Wigan to Win and BTTS

Another League Two vs League One encounter here with the away side being the odds-on favourites. Oldham haven’t won any of their last five, drawing three and losing two and their home form has seen them winning one, drawing one and losing three. Wigan are in decent nick, winning three and drawing two (winning one on penalties) of their last five in all competitions while away from home they share the same record.

The Latics’ defence isn’t exactly bastion-like it must be said, they’ve conceded at least one in all of their last eight games while Oldham have scored at least one in nine of their last 10 at Boundary Park. We’re looking at both teams getting on the scoresheet here but with their superior record the away side should be advancing to the next round of the competition.

20.00: Lens v Lille – BTTS & Over 2.5 Goals

While the home side are coming into this Coupe de France match as favourites it must be said that Lille are in mighty form. Lens have won just one of their last five in all competitions, drawing two and losing two however, looking at their home form only they’re unbeaten over their last five, winning three and drawing two. Lille have won four of their last five in all competitions and can boast the same record over their last five away games too. While the away side certainly have the better stats we can’t easily dismiss Lens’ impressive home record here.

Over 2.5 goals has landed in all five of Lille’s most recent away games and in three of the home side’s last five at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis and with both teams scoring a respective 13 and 12 goals over their last five home/away games we’re getting some great value by combining two bets here; we’re all over BTTS and Over 2.5 Goals for this one.

Tuesday’s acca:

19.00: Charlton v MK Dons – Over 2.5 Goals
19.00: Hartlepool v Bolton – Under 2.5 Goals
19.00: Oldham v Wigan – Wigan to Win and BTTS
20.00: Lens v Lille – BTTS & Over 2.5 Goals
