Chelsea bounced back to winning ways on Boxing Day as Romelu Lukaku leapt off the substitutes’ bench at half-time to bash up Aston Villa. Chelsea To Win
Chelsea need to start stringing the wins together if they’re to keep pace at the top of the Premier League table and they looked some way back to their best in the second half of Boxing Day’s 3-1 success at Aston Villa.
Brighton have not won on the road since travelling to Brentford in early September and, despite completing the double over the Bees on Sunday, you’d be hard pressed to back Graham Potter’s men here.

Chelsea’s midfield magician has already found the back of the net on seven occasions this season. Sure, three of those came in the thrashing of Norwich back in October but he recently notched in four consecutive games and will fancy getting back on the scoresheet after blanking in his last two including a glaring miss in the Villa win.
Romelu Lukaku To Have 2 Or More Shots On Target
It was a glorious sight seeing Romelu Lukaku bully the Aston Villa defence on Boxing Day – well, except for the Villa Park faithful. Chelsea’s attacking play will flow through the brilliant Belgian and, with Brighton giving up an average of five shots on target in their last three away games, you’d expect him to at least have a couple of goes at goal.
Dan Burn To Be Shown A Card
Brighton’s big defender can be clumsy at times and has collected two bookings from just eight Premier League appearances this term. To make matters worse, he’ll face the differing threats posed by Lukaku and Chelsea’s attacking midfielders so he could be in for a challenging evening.
Home Team Over 5.5 Corners
Chelsea are averaging more than six corners per game this season while Brighton are conceding around five. It’s worth taking a fly on the Blues at the very least keeping up the pace, especially if they put the Seagulls under the cosh early doors.
