While Bayern have obviously been in mighty form across all their competitions this season their defensive problems, which began early last season, still persist. Across their 16 league games this season the defending champions are averaging 1.0 goals against them per game.
Indeed, in seven of their last 10 games in all competitions Both Teams to Score has landed, the same stat is shared when looking at their last 10 Bundesliga games. Wolfsburg are in a bit of trouble following what had been a decent start to the campaign.
However, they are scoring goals, averaging 1.29 on their Bundesliga travels, scoring nine over their seven away games this season and five over their last five away games in all competitions. Both Teams to Score has to make the list with those stats.
Robert Lewandowski to Score First
Robert Lewandowski has been in incredibly good form yet again this season, scoring 18 in 16 league appearances for FC Hollywood, another two in two in domestic cup competitions and nine in six in the Champions League. He also has a ridiculously good record against Wolfsburg.
He’s faced them 24 times over his career so far, scoring 24 goals and over his last four appearances against them at the Allianz has opened the scoring twice. Pretty good odds here when we put all those stats together and with him hungry to break yet more records this year we think Lewandowski a good bet to open the scoring.

Serge Gnabry to Score Anytime
Serge Gnabry is also carrying on his form from last season and is second behind Lewandowski in the Bundesliga scoring ranks with nine over his 18 league appearances. The former Arsenal man also has two in his four Champions League games too.
He’s got a very impressive record against Die Wölfe too, scoring five times over his eight appearances when facing them and we’re liking the look of Gnabry getting his name on the scoresheet Anytime against them once more again here.

Wolfsburg are really shipping the goals of late, conceding 10 over their last five away fixtures and also 10 in their five most recent away Bundesliga games. In their three most recent league losses on the road they’ve conceded at least two goals on all three occasions. With Bayern pretty much looking nailed on to take the three points here, as well as some Bayern players really hitting form of late, we see that trend continuing and Bayern should win this one by two goals or more and passing the Bayern (-1) handicap.
