The Ralf Rangnick revolution rolls on this Saturday as his Manchester United side head out east to take on Norwich. Paddy Power ambassador Phil Thompson returns to run the rule over this game which features two sides on the up.
United are now unbeaten in five while The Canaries have picked up points in four of their last five games. Both have new bosses and there’s plenty to weigh up, but who better to work out what’s going to happen than Thommo. Here’s the big man’s Norwich v Manchester United tips.
Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League
Where do we go here with Norwich? They’re the lowest scorers in the entire English Football League with just eight goals. Will they score against Manchester United? Most teams do! Even Young Boys got a goal in midweek. Mind you, it was a bit of a worldie.
I do see them conceding, so Both Teams to Score is one of the plays. But, get this, Norwich have played seven games against sides in the top half of the Premier League and not scored against any of them.
This is hard, I’m still going for them to score against Manchester United. They won in Ralf Rangnick’s first game against Crystal Palace, 1-0. I think he’ll be as happy about the clean sheet as them getting three points.
Manchester United have won eight of their last nine against Norwich in all competitions. I do fancy an Away Win. Bruno Fernandes scored against Arsenal, hopefully that’s broken his duck. I think Fernandes will Score Anytime as Manchester United win 3-1.
Football Tips: Phil Thompson’s 4 Norwich v Man Utd bets include a tasty 9/1 punt
