Chelsea look to be back to their best following a mini wobble. They were really classy against Leicester at the weekend, so who better to take a look at their Champions League clash with Juventus than Phil Thompson?
Paddy’s football ambassador is also in red-hot form after another productive weekend of Premier League tipping. Juventus won the first meeting between these two but can they turn the tables this time? Here’s Thommo’s Chelsea v Juventus tips.
I just don’t fancy Juventus, it’s not going to be a walkover by any means for Chelsea. Great win at the weekend for them, I know Leicester have not been in great form but it’s how they did it, how comfortable they were at the King Power.
They’re sitting top of the tree in the Premier League. They’ve got nine points in the Champions League but Juventus have 12 so they’re well qualified and Chelsea will be there behind them.
They’re sitting 7th in Serie A, Juventus, so they’re not in brilliant form. I know they had a good win at the weekend, beating Lazio 2-0 away with two pens from Leonardo Bonucci of all people.
I still think Chelsea will have too much for this. Will Timo Werner play? Will Romelu Lukaku play? You can’t be too sure so this is one of those you need to check out the team sheet. I’m going for Both Teams to Score in this one.
