This is a tricky one to call with both going pretty well at the moment. QPR are 6th in the Championship, five places above Luton who continue to go about re-establishing themselves as a solid Championship club in fine style.

While both have been a bit goal mad this season they’ve calmed down recently and both will admit they’ve probably had too many draws. It’s a bit of a head scratcher, so let’s try and make sense of the madness with a Bet Builder.

Putting my head on the block here a bit, I just keep thinking the most likely outcome is the Score Draw. I’m a fan of the work Nathan Jones is doing at Luton but QPR are obviously a good side who are going well.

QPR are midtable in the home form charts while The Hatters are also midranking away from home so there’s no clues there. Both sides have won two in their last five with the Rs drawing two and losing one and Luton drawing one and losing two. The form lines aren’t giving anything away either.

Across the season both have scored and conceded plenty with the hosts firing 28 and shipping 24 in 17 and Luton scoring 26 and conceding 22. I think we’re bang on for a few goals and possibly both cancelling each other out with the Score Draw.

Over 1.5 Goals

Considering these two sides have netted a combined 54 goals this season it’s perhaps a little surprising to see the top scorer across the two squads has just eight goals. Step forward Luton’s Elijah Adebayo who is the sharpest shooter on display on Friday night.

He’s in decent form as well. Adebayo has three in Luton’s last five Championship games, the best numbers of anyone available on Friday night. Scotland star Lyndon Dykes might miss out through injury and Ilias Chair’s remarkable hot streak looks to have cooled a little. At a very appealing price it might pay to back Elijah Adebayo to Score First.
