Our footie tipster Paddy Murphy is on the hunt for goals.

It looks like Tuesday night is going to be a bit of a nail-biting affair for the teams vying for Qualification and Playoff spots for next year’s World Cup. In Group D Finland are two points ahead of Ukraine and must entertain already-qualified France while Ukraine are away to Bosnia & Herzegovina.

NEW TO PADDY POWER?

In Group G it’s between the Netherlands, Turkey and Norway to take the top two spots, we’ll be looking for value in the Netherlands vs Norway clash. And finally, Wales take on Belgium at home. Should the Welsh lose and the Czechs beat Estonia at home they could miss out on a Playoff spot. Got all that? Good, let’s roll up our sleeves then and hunt out some value.

19:45: Bosnia & Herzegovina v Ukraine – Both Teams to Score

Both teams have shared disappointing results over their qualification campaigns, Ukraine though, can at least salvage something from the mess should they clinch the Playoff spot at the expense of Finland. Bosnia have won just one of their Group D matches, drawing four and losing two.

Ukraine have also won just one, drawing all six of the others. Bosnia’s recent form though, across all competitions, has improved. Over their last five games they’ve won two, drawn two and lost one. Ukraine have drawn four and won one.

At home Bosnia have won one, drawn two and lost two. Ukraine have won one, drawn three and lost one (not including their Euros games). The market is siding with the away side here but with the amount of draws occurring for both teams it’s a bit risky for us and something like Both Teams to Score, having occurred in five of Ukraine’s last six away goals has the better value.

19:45: Finland v France – Both Teams to Score

If Ukraine draw or lose then the Finns are free to be on the wrong end of a hammering here. Should Ukraine win and Finland lose they’ll be out. A Ukraine win and a draw here will come down to goals.

So, there’s enough motivation here for the Finns to go for this but saying that, if Ukraine are trailing 2-0 at some stage don’t expect Finland to be throwing the proverbial at France’s backline.

Finland have scored at least one in five of their last seven games (not including Euros matches) and scored at least one in four of their last five overall matches. France aren’t keeping too many clean sheets, Both Teams to Score has landed in three of their last five home/away games and in all three of their away games since the Euros.

Finland have little to fear here and an already-qualified France are likely to introduce a few fresh faces into the side. Both Teams to Score looks like the best value for this one.

19:45: Netherlands v Norway – BTTS No Draw

A win for Netherlands and a draw for Turkey, who are away to Montenegro, would see both qualifying. Wins for Norway and Turkey would mean the Dutch will miss out. A draw here and Turkey winning would mean a top two finish of Turkey and Netherlands. And a draw in both games would see things only changing by each team getting a point, so Norway would be out.

Should Turkey lose, then a draw will be enough for Norway. Suffice to say, Norway cannot afford to lose here and they’re going to need Montenegro to do them a massive favour if it ends level here. They’re just going to have to take for granted that the Turks will win their game.

Both teams are in great form, both are undefeated over their last six games in all competitions. At home, Netherlands have won all five of their most recent matches while Norway have won three and drawn two.

Norway are missing their main man Erling Haaland here but there’s still plenty of talent in the squad who can cause a threat, particularly as Netherland have only kept three clean sheets over their six games since the Euros and two of them were against Gibraltar and Latvia.

Both teams need the win here and both should score but we can squeeze some extra value out of it here by backing BTTS No Draw as we should see a winner come full time.

19:45: Wales v Belgium – Both Teams to Score

Should Wales lose 0-1 here and Czech Republic beat Estonia 1-0 both teams will be level on points, goals scored and conceded but Wales will have won the head to head. More goals and it gets more complicated. A draw for Wales though will see them securing the Playoff spot. The Czechs need Wales to lose, anything else for Wales and the Czechs are out.

Wales were impressive against Belarus on Saturday night. But in fairness, Belarus are a bit muck, they only won one qualification game and lost all seven of their others. Belgium are without Romelu Lukaku through injury and Eden Hazard isn’t likely to start here.

However, they’ve still got the likes of Kevin de Bruyne, Dries Mertens and Yannick Carrasco in the starting XI so while Wales will be confident of getting the result they need here Belgium must be taken seriously even though they’ve already through to the World Cup.

It’s been 42 matches now since Belgium last didn’t score and with Wales desperate to not lose here both should get on the scoresheet. Both Teams to Score again here.
