Super Sunday kicks off with an interesting-looking match up between in-form Arsenal and the forever-in-flux Watford. The Gunners have turned it around from their shambolic start to the season and look to be on the up.
NEW TO PADDY POWER?
No-one better to make an Arse of it against than Watford then, who are attempting to work out what’s going on under new boss Claudio Ranieri. To make a mighty fist of unravelling this one is Paddy Power football ambassador and Liverpool God Phil Thompson.
He’s teamed up with the good folk at PPTV to offer the definitive view of Sunday’s first televised game in his Arsenal v Watford betting tips. How’s this one going to go Thommo?

TV: Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League
Arsenal are in the ascendency now. When you go back to those early days and the pressure on Mikel Arteta, it was really difficult. They’re unbeaten in nine games in all competitions at the moment. It was a great win against Leicester last week.
Aaron Ramsdale who, hands up, I didn’t think he was a good signing. He came from Sheffield United conceding a shedload of goals there as they went down. I was a bit worried about the signing.
Fair play to Arteta he’s coming up trumps at the moment and he made an absolute worldie save last week. Watford, what’s happening with this side? Claudio Ranieri came in, Liverpool thumped them 5-0 then they to go to Goodison Park and beat Everton 5-2.
They then go and lose 1-0 against Southampton. Under Ranieri they’ve won one lost two and they’ve conceded 18 goals, there’s only Aston Villa, Newcastle and Norwich who have conceded more.
I can’t see Watford getting anything from this game. Arsenal are on that upward curve and I just think they’ll win. Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang’s scored seven goals in the last nine appearances. I do expect Aubameyang to Score Anytime. I also expect Arsenal to Win, they will keep a clean sheet. This is a good one for the Gunners.
