After a great seven days for both sides where we saw Leicester’s summer signing Patson Daka shine, and saw Arsenal, well, winning games – they now face off against each other at the King Power Stadium on Saturday. The hosts are on a great run of form, undefeated in their last five games, scoring 14 goals in that time. Arsenal, on the other hand, are bouncing back from a dismal start to the season are actually undefeated in all competitions since the 5-0 drubbing against Man City back in August.
The Gunners will definitely be without Granit Xhaka who is still recovering from a knee injury. Other potential absences are Kieran Tierney with an ankle injury, Ben White (sickness) and Martin Odegaard who apparently struggled in training during the week.
The Foxes are set to be without James Justin (knee), Marc Albrighton who is still recovering from that crunching tackle in Moscow and Wilfred Ndidi, who’s carrying a thigh injury. Jamie Vardy might not be available with a knee injury either but that is yet to be confirmed. With all that being said, let’s get to looking at what can we put into a Bet Builder for this one!
We’re backing Leicester to win in this one. They’ve had absolutely no issue finding the back of the net in recent weeks and we’re expecting to see them carry that form into this weekend’s clash. The two sides are currently perched side by side in the Premier League table, with only three goals the difference between them. Expect that to grow bigger on Saturday.
Leicester haven’t been shy about finding the net so far this season, especially in the last two weeks. Arsenal too are finding their feet scoring two or more goals in five of their last six games. We’re always hoping for goals galore and this game should deliver.
I hope everyone has been watching this lad this season? If not, you absolutely should be. He’s scored twice in his last three appearances and looks like a great value punt to have a shot on target. He already had half as many goals this season as he had in 20/21. With six shots on target so far this season, and the run of form he’s on, you’d have to back him to get a shot on target in this one.
Leicester are without defensive midfielder Wilfred Ndidi, which will leave them a little more exposed at the back than they’ll be comfortable with. Soyuncu has already found his way into the referee’s book on three occasions this season so far. I can easily see this being a fourth for him by just putting in a rash tackle when he’s low on defensive support.
