Over 2.5 Goals
Despite this fixture’s history of delivering dour struggles, recent evidence suggests this should be a high-scoring affair. United’s last two fixtures have had a combined 11 goals and their only clean sheet this season was of the incredibly fortunate variety at Molineux. We could easily see Over 2.5 Goals here.
Both Teams To Score
Liverpool have been far more solid defensively than the Red Devils but they were badly exposed on the counter-attack by Atletico Madrid’s Joao Felix and Antoine Griezmann in midweek which will give United cause for optimism. Added to that, Virgil van Dijk doesn’t quite look back to his regal best and a pacey United attack could cause Liverpool’s defence plenty of issues as Both Teams Score.
Mo Salah to have an assist
It’s not just the incredible goals that Mohammed Salah’s scoring that is putting the Egyptian as a late contender for the Ballon D’or, his passing and playmaking have significantly improved from last season too which is borne out by the numbers.
Salah is averaging 2.5 key passes per game this season compared to 1.5 last term and he’s racked up four assists in eight matches which is only one less than he had in the whole of the last league season. At a great price, Mo Salah to get an Anytime Assist looks a bet.
Fabinho to be carded
In a game where United will carry a huge threat on the break, we can expect at least a couple of cynical fouls from Liverpool’s midfield which will hopefully see us complete our 4 leg Bet Builder. Fabinho is the most likely to be carded for the away side.
