Paddy’s Hall of Fame: Punter pockets €19,000 after wonderful #WhatOddsPaddy 4 fold

Well, that's one way to brighten up an international week.

A prudent Paddy Power punter knocked it out of the park on Sunday night, turning €10 into €19,000 thanks to a sensational #WhatOddsPaddy four fold. Who said international breaks are boring?

NEW TO PADDY POWER?

The mammoth 1,900/1 acca featured 18/1 and 9/1 punts to leave Paddy feeling the Monday blues big time. And to make it worse for the gaffer it was his #WhatOddsPaddy markets that did the damage.

Our clever bettor kicked off with a 3/1 bet which came in – just – as Romania beat Armenia with them having the most corners and the latter to pick up the most cards. It was a bloodbath in the corner and card markets but Romania only won 1-0 thanks to Alexandru Mitriță’s first-half goal.

Next up was a 9/1 flutter and to Wales’ World Cup qualifying group as the Czech Republic headed to Belarus. Our punter needed 1 or More Czech goals, 3 or more corners and one or more Belarusian card in each half. There were a lot of moving parts in that punt but they all fell into place with Patrik Schick and Adam Hlozek scoring either side of half time to keep this mega bet rolling on.

To the 18/1 bet now and Russia’s trip to Slovenia. Our punter backed Russia to Win, Russia Most Corners and Slovenia Most Cards. It duly ended 2-1 to Russia, they had eight corners to Slovenia’s one and the Slovaks racked up a whopping six cards to Russia’s one. Never in doubt!

And finally the shortest-priced punt which was Turkey to beat Latvia while having the most corners and fewest cards. Given the way the rest of the bet had gone this one would surely be a walk in the park at just 2.5? However, this leg went right until the 99th minute and needed a concerted Burak Yilmaz penalty to bring home the €19,000. Football, bloody hell!
