We have some massive matches lined up for Saturday’s Big Team Acca. We’ll be checking in on Serie A champions Inter sgainst Serie A upstarts Sassuolo and we also have the Turin derby from Italy. Dortmund take on Augsburg in the Bundesliga and one of the biggest matches of the La Liga calendar is taking place with Atletico Madrid taking on Barcelona in what could be Ronald Koeman’s final game (if he makes it that long!). First up, though, we have fourth vs fifth in the Premier League as Man United take on Everton at Old Trafford.

12.30: Man United v Everton – Both Teams to Score

Man United are in good Premier League form but not in the greatest overall form. Of their five most recent matches in all competitions they’ve only won two and have lost all three of the others. Everton have won three of their last five games, drawing one (losing it on penalties) and losing one. United are consistently inconsistent, they can be amazing to watch when it clicks but when it doesn’t they can manage to lose to Aston Villa and West Ham at home.

Everton have made things really tough for United over recent visits up the M62, of their last five visits there United have won two and three ended level with Both Teams to Score landing in four of those five games. Both teams are doing well in front of goal this season: United have 13 goals to their name, Everton have 12. Both sides are good enough to beat the other here but both have players prone to the odd banana skin too so we’re going with the very respectable odds for Both Teams to Score here.

14.30: Dortmund v Augsburg – Augsburg Under 0.5 Goals

Not many would give Augsburg much of a chance. Indeed, of their last 10 visits to Dortmund they’ve only come away with a single victory. Over their five most recent games there, Dortmund have won three and two ended level. All five games saw BTTS landing, all three of BVB’s wins saw Over 4.5 goals.

However, Augsburg have only scored in two of their six league games this season and while Dortmund don’t keep too many clean sheets they kept Sporting Lisbon quiet midweek in the Champions League and they’re a fair bit better than what Augsburg have to offer. Augsburg have been utterly clueless going forward this campaign and Dortmund should make it two clean sheets in-a-row here. Augsburg Under 0.5 Goals has the value.

17.00: Torino v Juventus – BTTS No Draw

As much as the Torino faithful get fired up for the coming of their oldest enemy into the city the fact is that they’ve only beaten the Old Lady in one of their last 10 attempts at home. Juventus will still be high on confidence after their win over reigning European champions Chelsea midweek. Torino are in decent shape though, they’ve won two of their last five fixtures, drawing two and losing one, scoring eight and conceding four over those five games. Juve have won four of their last five in all competitions, drawing the other, scoring 11 and conceding five.

Juventus’ win over Chelsea was their first clean sheet in 24 competitive games. Their defence has been very sloppy over recent months and while manager Massimo Allegri has been working on the problem it cannot be fixed quickly and with Torino in good goal-scoring form, the best value here is in backing BTTS No Draw.

19.45: Sassuolo v Inter – Inter to Win and Over 2.5 Goals

Sassuolo aren’t too happy with their start to the Serie A campaign. Of their six league games so far they’ve won just two, drawing one and losing three, scoring six goals and conceding seven. Inter are still unbeaten in the league, winning four and drawing two, scoring 20 and conceding seven. Over their last four meetings at both stadiums, Inter have won three with one ending level and Inter have taken the three points in two of their last three visits, with Sassuolo winning the other.

Inter’s scoring record in the league has been mighty this season, scoring two or more goals in all six of their league games. They’ve only managed to keep a single clean sheet though and Sassuolo are averaging a goal per game. The odds for Inter to Win and Over 2.5 Goals are too good to refuse here.

20.00: Atletico Madrid v Barcelona – Under 2.5 Goals

Much has been made of Barcelona’s bad form of late and indeed they’ve won just one of their last five in all competitions, drawing two and losing two. Atletico though have only won two of their last five, drawing two and losing one. Looking at just home vs away La Liga form it’s much of a muchness between the sides, both are unbeaten over their last five, Atletico have won three and drawn two, Barcelona have won two and drawn three.

Previous fixtures have been tight over recent seasons with the home side winning just one, Barcelona winning two and two ending level. Koeman looks to be a goner at Barcelona, and that will surely suit Atletico down to the ground. Over the last five meetings here only one game saw Over 2.5 goals, only one home La Liga Atletico match has so far seen Overs this season, none of Barcelona’s away league games has seen Overs landing as of yet. We’re going with Unders here.
