12.30pm: Chelsea vs Man City – Under 2.5 Goals

TV: BT Sport 1 and BT Sport Ultimate

Chelsea and Liverpool hold top spot in the Premier League, both teams have won four and drawn one of their five league games, both have also scored 12 and conceded one. Man City’s title defence has seen them winning three of their five Premier League matches, drawing one and losing one, they’ve scored 11 and also conceded one. The five most recent encounters between the pair at Stamford Bridge haven’t exactly set the world alight, only two saw Over 2.5 goals and Both Teams to Score landing.

The sides met four times last season, twice in the league obviously, in a FA Cup semi-final and in the Champions League final as well. Chelsea won three of the four with City winning the other. Overs and BTTS was also seen in two of those four games. Both teams are obviously in good goal-scoring form but both have only conceded a single league goal and this one has ‘tight’ written all over it. We’re going with Under 2.5 Goals here.

12.30pm: Man Utd vs Aston Villa – Man United to Win & BTTS

Man United are unbeaten in the league so far, winning four and drawing one of their five matches to date. Aston Villa have won two, drawn one and lost two. United have been pretty decent in front of goal, scoring 13 goals, Villa have eight over their five league fixtures and have scored at least one in four of their five fixtures so far. Of their five most recent away Premier League games they’ve also scored at least one in four of them.

BTTS has landed in four of United’s last five games in all competitions and of their last five league games at Old Trafford they failed to keep a single clean sheet. While they’ll more than likely concede here they are in great league form and should take the three points. Man United to Win and Both Teams To Score has the best value here.

5pm: Inter vs Atalanta – Inter to Score Over 1.5 Goals

TV: BT Sport 2

Serie A champions Inter have won four and drawn one over their opening five league games so far, scoring 18 and conceding five. Atalanta aren’t doing too bad either, they’ve won three, drawn one and lost one, finding the back of the net just six times though and conceding four. Inter have lost just one of their last 20 home league games and haven’t lost at home to Atalanta since 2014, a run of seven games where they’ve won five and drawn two.

Goals should be on the menu here, all five of Inter’s league matches have seen Over 3.5 goals landing while Over 2.5 goals has occurred in three of Atalanta’s five league fixtures. Inter have scored two or more goals in all of their five games and in all of their five most recent home Serie A games too. We’re going with the home side to score two or more here again.

5.30pm: Monchengladbach vs Dortmund – Dortmund to Win

TV: Sky Sports Football

‘Gladbach are having a bit of a nightmare start to their season, so far they’ve won just one of their five in the league, drawing one and losing three. They’ve scored just five goals and have conceded nine.

Dortmund, on the other hand, can’t stop scoring. They’ve bagged 17 goals so far, although they’ve conceded 11 and have won four and lost one over their five league meetings. Dortmund have won four of their last five in all competitions as well while ‘Gladbach have won just one of their last five. Dortmund have to get the nod to Win here.

8pm: Real Madrid vs Villarreal – Real to Win & Over 2.5 Goals

TV: LaLigaTV

Real Madrid currently lead La Liga on 16 points after six games, winning five and drawing one, scoring 21 goals and conceding eight. Carlo Ancelotti’s side have really clicked over the last three games, scoring a total of 13 goals. However, they conceded in all three of them.

Villarreal have been disappointing so far with just one win and four drawn in the league. Real are obviously short-odds favourites here and they’ve won this fixture in four out of the last six meetings in Madrid, with Villarreal winning one and one ending level. All four of those victories saw Overs and with Real in such great goal-scoring form we’re backing that trend to continue here. Real to Win and Over 2.5 Goals rounds us off.
