The battle for a top-half Premier League finish intensifies this Sunday with the highly anticipated meeting between fierce North London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham. Both sides have had near-identical starts to the season with the five wins between them, all by a single goal to nil, and a failure to score in each of their five heavy defeats.

Arsenal v Tottenham – Sunday, September 26: 16.30
Sky Sports Premier League

I expect this one to be a cagey affair with both sides desperate not to lose – and here’s a monstrous, over 80/1 Bet Builder which I think is worth getting stuck in to ahead of the Emirates Stadium blockbuster.

Match result: Draw

BORRRINGGG I hear you shout! Well it may well be the boring pick, but the draw is a big runner in this fixture. Four of the last seven Premier League meetings at The Emirates between these sides has ended in a stalemate. With both managers under pressure already this early in the season, if the game is poised at 1-1 with 15 to 20 minutes left, I wouldn’t expect either to gung-ho all-out attack for the win. Not losing is more important for both teams at this stage.

To be booked: Sergio Reguilon

He hasn’t been booked yet this season, but in what I expect to be a feisty affair Sergio Reguilon could be in line for a booking up against Bukayo Saka. The England star is likely to be the player who takes the game to Tottenham and will be direct and full of running for the 90 minutes. Expect him to get the better of Reguilon on a couple of occasions which might leave the Spaniard with no other choice than to take a cynical foul and make his way into Craig Pawson’s notebook.

Player to have 1 or more shots on target: Son-Heung Min

Having only had to play half an hour for Spurs in their midweek penalty shoot-out win over Wolves, Son should be fresh for this game. He’s averaged 3.12 shots per game in the league so far this season and with Harry Kane dropping deeper and deeper, he can link up with Son for one of those devastating counter-attacks we were accustomed to seeing last season. At the much bigger price than Kane to get a shot on target, I’m very happy to get him into our Bet Builder.

Player to have 1 or more shots on target: Thomas Partey

Now, hear me out on this one! Partey made his way back into the starting XI for Arsenal last weekend against Burnley and the defensive midfielder attempted three shots from distance. He went close against Wimbledon during the week in the Carabao Cup too, so has shown he is not afraid to have a go from distance, and at the prices, he’s got to be worth getting in this Bet Builder! With a cagey game likely and chances at a minimum, you can be sure you’ll hear the Emirates crowd urging Partey to “shooooooot” whenever he picks the ball up around 30 yards from goal. I think he’ll have two or three attempts in the game and hopefully at least one can trouble the Tottenham goal.
