Another Saturday can only mean one thing – it’s Bet Builder time. This weekend we’re taking a look at Wolves v Brentford and, just in case you were unsure, both sides currently sit ahead of Arsenal in the Premier League table. Brentford currently sit in a very respectable 10th place through four games, their opponents Wolves in 13th.

NEW TO PADDY POWER?

Neither side has seen too many goals for or against this season with a combined five goals for, and five goals against through the first four game weeks – riveting! With Pedro Neto out for the foreseeable, with that nasty knee injury sustained against Fulham all the way back in April, Wolves have missed that goalscoring spark to help them get over the line.

Adama Traoure might be big, but his finishing isn’t as polished as the Portuguese winger’s. Brentford are without any new injury concerns which is always a good sign. With that being said, let’s get to our Bet Builder for this Saturday’s game.

The Draw

This is the time this season that I’ll be backing The Draw. This game has all the makings of a stalemate. Despite the fact that Wolves have lost three games on the trot at home, I can see them holding out against Brentford with Hwang Hee-Chan stepping upto the mark like he did against Watford if Brentford take a lead.

Under 2.5 Goals

Believe it or not, Wolves have seen Under 2.5 Goals in six of their last seven home games in the Prem while Brentford have seen Under 2.5 in all of their Premier League games to date. Don’t go getting your hopes up about a 7-7 barn burner! If you’re really feeling brave go for Under 0.5, but I feel that the Under 2.5 Goals gives us just enough breathing room that we can work a decent price out of.

Raul Jimenez to Score Anytime

I have to say, I am delighted to see Raul Jimenez’s name on a Wolves team sheet again. After his horrific skull fracture that he sustained against Arsenal last January he is back and sporting new natty headgear with it. Step one was getting him back onto the pitch, step two was getting him starts and step three?

Well, that’s getting him on the scoresheet of course! He’s got 34 goals in his 90 Premier League appearances to date (0.38 goals per 90) which means he is well overdue a goal this weekend. Raul Jimenez to Score Anytime keeps us rolling.

Home Team Over 5.5 Corners

Wolves play from wide primarily down the left with Traore on one wing and either Francisco Trincao or Hee-Chan off the far side. 43% of Wolves attacks so far this season have been launched from the left wing.

They’ve averaged just over five corners per game since the start of the season. Brentford will be happy to try and hold Wolves out wide and limit them to opportunities from set pieces. For this reason I’m going with Wolves to have over 5.5 corners at the Molineux this weekend.
