For Monday night’s footballing action we’re gone through what’s on offer and found a delicious-looking double where Ivory Coast take on Cameroon in a World Cup Qualifier and Bolton are at home to Burton in League One. Let’s dig into the stats and form of all the teams involved then and show you where the value lies.

NEW TO PADDY POWER?

20.00: Ivory Coast v Cameroon – Ivory Coast to Win

Both teams began their qualification campaigns last Friday but with contrasting results. Ivory Coast could only manage a 0-0 draw away to Mozambique where they had been odds-on favourites. Cameroon were 2-0 winners at home to Malawi. Both sides can’t exactly take it easy on one another here as only one side from the four will make it to the third stage of qualification.

Ivory Coast are undefeated over their seven games in all competitions and on home turf have won all six of their last fixtures there. Cameroon’s form isn’t nearly as good, they’ve won just two of their last seven games, drawing two and losing three. Their away form isn’t great either, winning just two of their last five on their travels and losing the other three.

The sides last met in 2016, with Ivory Coast scoring three goals in Extra Time in an Africa Cup of Nations game, very few of the players on that day are in either squad here.

Cameroon will come into the game confident after their victory over Malawi but Les Lions have been struggling for goals of late, only scoring one over their three matches prior to the Malawi fixture. Ivory Coast have also drawn two blanks over their two most previous matches but at home have scored seven over their last three. The home side need to win here and the value lies with them taking the three points thanks to their impressive home record.

20.00: Bolton v Burton – BTTS and Over 2.5 Goals

Over their five League One games so far this season Bolton have won two, drawn two and lost one. Burton have won three, drawn one and lost one. Boltons’ matches have seen quite a bit more action though, they’ve scored nine goals and conceded eight while Burton have scored just five and have also conceded five.

The sides have met four times since 2017 with Burton winning three matches and the other ending in a 2-2 draw. Two of the games saw Over 2.5 goals, Over 3.5 and Both Teams to Score landing. With the scoring record mentioned above we should see both getting on the scoresheet here, particularly as Bolton don’t seem all that bothered with defending this season.

Bolton’s scoring record though is hard to argue with and they should get a couple, however, with Burton having something of a hoodoo over Bolton over the last few seasons the best value here is BTTS and Overs here.

Monday night’s double:

20.00: Bolton v Burton – BTTS and Over 2.5 Goals
