If you still need some more football on a Saturday then MLS is on hand to offer a late-night fix over on Sky Sports. There’s plenty of games on Saturday night/Sunday morning so let’s rummage around in the markets to fine some smart punts to help us win some late night Dollar.
We’ve got El Traffico on the telly tonight as the two Los Angeles sides square off. LA Galaxy are doing well and occupy 4th in the Western conference while LA FC are down in 9th and are struggling to make it into the playoffs.
Sunday 12am: Los Angeles FC v LA Galaxy Sky Sports Football
LAFC are in woeful form and have lost five of their last seven, drawing the other two. The visitors aren’t in amazing form with three wins, a draw and most recently, two losses in their last six. However, with LAFC in freefall it’s well worth siding with LA Galaxy and The Draw on the Double Chance.
Another local derby of sorts here as New England make the shortish trip to face New York City. The Revolution are top of the Eastern Conference while City are 5th. These two are in good form, NYCFC have won four of their last seven, drawing two and losing last time out.
However, New England are absolutely unstoppable and they’ve claimed victory in eight of their last nine, drawing the other one. This should be a close match but we have to be with the visitors on that form and we’re getting good Double Chance odds again on New England and The Draw.
Philly are motoring along nicely in the Eastern Conference and sit in 3rd after 21 games. Their hosts on Sunday morning, DC United, are down in 7th and scrapping for a playoff spot.
They’ve both been pretty inconsistent but the one thing we have been able to rely on is goals when DC United take to the field. They’ve seen an eye-watering 25 goals in their last five, an average of 5 per game! The Union’s average is a more modest 2.4 per game but we should easily see Over 2.5 Goals in this one.
Houston Dynamo come into this rock bottom of the Western Conference and realistically they’re only playing for pride now. Minnesota, on the other hand, have it all to fight for and they’re 5th in the WC and are already eyeing up the playoffs.
Houston haven’t won for 15 games, losing six and drawing eight since. United have been drawing a lot too, being held to a share of the spoils in four of their last six. These two love a stalemate and we’re backing another Draw here.
