It’s great to know that even if the world was falling apart, Arsenal remain a pillar of consistency. After picking up their second loss of the season (in just two games), the football gods have rewarded them with a match up against current champions Man City. Even the most savvy punter won’t be backing them here, despite their demolition of an unsuspecting West Brom 6-0 in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday. You never know, maybe Pep will blood some of his academy players in this one? Only kidding.

The signing of Aaron Ramsdale should surely secure relegation seeing as poor Aaron is yet to beat the drop, with three relegations to his name already at just 23-years-old. After falling just one leg short on last week’s Bet Builder and being saved by the Bet Builder Insurance, let’s get to looking at what we can stick in our betslip for this one.

Man City To Win

No surprises here, surely Pep can’t lose to both North London teams in the space of three weeks? City look likely to come away with a comfortable victory at home, leaving Arsenal wishing they’d never left The Hawthorns on Wednesday night.

Over 3.5 Goals

We’re definitely expecting to see goals in this game, especially since Arsenal put six past West Brom (and hopefully having dusted off some cobwebs) and Man City demolishing Norwich 5-0 last weekend. Both teams should be primed to deliver the goods.

Man City To Have 7 Or more Shots On Target

Which player in that Arsenal defence will be able to stop the hosts? I love a good underdog story, I even bought a North Macedonia jersey for the Euros, however with Ben White out with Covid, this Arsenal defence will simply be holding on for dear life. Chelsea had 22 shots against Arsenal last week with Romelu Lukaku just off the plane, so this City outfit should cause mayhem.

SATURDAY FOOTBALL TIPS

Bukayo Saka To Have 1 Or More Shots On Target

If anybody is going to bring a creative spark to this game for Arsenal, it’s Bukayo Saka. He’s young, creative and exciting. The England youngster scored in midweek, so hopefully his confidence will still be up and he could give Arsenal some form of a lifeline. He has had four shots in total since the beginning of the new season, with three of them being on target. A 75% conversion rate is not too shabby eh?

Granit Xhaka To Be Booked

Realistically, there is major pressure on Xhaka in this game. He’s got a real absence of experience behind him and that is going to mean he has a lot more work to do. More work, means more mistakes and let’s hope we can capitalise off those blunders and hopefully see him witness a flash of yellow.
