Celtic vs Dundee FC: Both Teams to Score

Celtic finally put their miserable start to the season behind them on Thursday with a 2-4 win over Jablonec in the Europa League, bringing to an end a run of six games (including friendlies) without a victory. They lost their Premiership opener last weekend against Hearts but the Bhoys are odds-on favourites to win here, having beaten Dundee in eight of their last 10 visits to Celtic Park.

Dundee drew 2-2 with St Mirren in their league opener last week and while obviously not in action on the European stage this will be their sixth competitive game of the season having won all four of their opening League Cup games, scoring 14 and conceding just two. Dundee are in mighty goal-scoring form and are coming up against a Celtic side who have kept one clean sheet over their last nine in all competitions. Dundee don’t do well in this fixture but there’s plenty of goals in James McPake’s side and we should see both getting on the scoresheet here.

Hibernian vs Ross County: Hibs to Win & Both Teams To Score

Thanks to their European commitments Hibs have played four games already this season, winning two and drawing one in the Europa Conference League and winning their Premiership opener 2-3 away to Motherwell. They’ve obviously started off the season in great form and the market is heavily siding with them here.

Ross County will be playing their sixth game of the season. They’ve so far won two and lost two in the League Cup and drew 0-0 with St Johnstone in the league last weekend. Ross County won here last season and have scored at least one goal in six of their last seven visits to Easter Road.

The market isn’t expecting the Staggies to get on the scoresheet here but Hibs only managed to keep five Clean Sheets over their 19 home league games last season. Saying that, Hibs are in great form and should come out on top. Pretty decent odds here on the home side to win and BTTS landing.

Livingston vs Aberdeen: Aberdeen to Win

Livingston were thrashed 3-0 by Rangers in their league opener while Aberdeen beat Dundee United 2-0. Aberdeen have also been in European action where they’ve won two and lost one of their three games, scoring eight and conceding five. The clubs have met here four times since 2018 with the away side winning three and one ending 0-0.

Both sides are in decent goal-scoring form, Livingston have netted seven over their five games so far this season with Aberdeen scoring 10. Aberdeen should outscore them here as well and with their great record when visiting Almondvale we’re backing The Dons to take the three points.

St Johnstone vs Motherwell: Motherwell Double Chance

The sides have met here six times since 2018 with both winning two games and two ending level. BTTS only landed in three of those games, Over 2.5 goals in just two. St Johnstone have only played two games this season, their 0-0 Premiership curtain raiser with Ross County and a 1-1 away draw with Galatasaray in the Europa League. Motherwell have played five games, winning three out of four in the League Cup and losing their league opener 2-3 against Hibs.

St Johnstone will surely have their minds on their return leg with Galatasaray and with Motherwell winning three of their five games so far this season, compared to St Johnstone only winning one of their last six in all competitions, we’re going with the away side. However, this fixture has been so tight over the years we’re taking out some insurance and backing Motherwell Double Chance.
