#OleOut to trend until 2024, with option of extra year

United fans have promised to call for the Norwegian’s head after every defeat for the next three years.

#OleOut will trend on social media until 2024, with the option of a further year, after Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer signed a new deal.

Following the club’s announcement earlier today, United fans have promised to call for the Norwegian’s head after every defeat for the next three years. Club legend Solskjaer took interim charge in December 2018 upon the completion of the successful fan-driven #JoseOut campaign.

And after an initial three-month honeymoon period, the supporters have taken to the internet in their droves to demand he be relieved of his duties after every minor setback.

‘Manchester United supporters are delighted #OleOut will be trending on social media for at least another three seasons’, read a statement on behalf of United fans sent to Paddy Power News headquarters.

‘There’s no better way of getting behind the team than by tweeting #OleOut every time we go a goal behind in a game’.

‘It’s the post-Fergie United way’.

Manchester United CEO Ed Woodward released a statement regards the new deal on the club’s official website, which said:

‘Ole’s at the wheel until 2024 – with the option of another year, baby’.

‘I’m not entirely sure why I’m the one telling you seeing as how I was so sh*te I was forced to resign but there you go. Don’t forget who appointed Ole in the first place. I’ll give you a clue, it was me’.

Woodward also took the opportunity to reflect on his reign as CEO.

‘Now we’ve all had time to calm down and think about it a little more objectively, is there anything to be said for another European Super League?’.

‘God, I do love a good European Super League proposal’, he added.

Meanwhile, when informed the fans had committed to calling for his head for another three seasons, Solskjaer said:

‘That’s football for you. No better way to start the day than scrolling through social to see the ungrateful sh*tes you scored umpteen injury-time winners for demanding that you’re sacked’.

‘When I read the comments calling me a clueless PE teacher, sometimes, I wish I’d sliced that shot against Bayern out for a throw-in’.

‘Oh look, it’s started already after a friendly’, grinned Solskjaer while staring at his phone.
