Denmark to win

When the draw for the Round of 16 became clear, you wouldn’t have had Denmark and Czech Republic as the two sides who found their way into the quarter-finals in the most convincing fashion. Denmark skelped Wales and the Czechs made light work of 10-man Holland, though I think it will be the Danes booking their place in the semis with a Win here. I think they’re a step above the Czech Republic and we’ll see that in Baku.

Joakim Maehle to Have One or More Shots on Target

Alvaro Morata, Patrik Schick, Joakim Maehle, Kai Havertz, Haris Seferovic and Raheem Sterling. One of those is not like the other. That’s the top of the shots-on-target standings, with Maehle really sticking out. He’s been so lively marauding down Denmark’s left-hand side from wing-back and has hit the target six times in his four games, scoring twice too. I wouldn’t be shocked to see him find the back of the net again during Euro 2020, but I’ll take a shot on goal for this one, Joakim.

Mikkel Damsgaard to Have One or More Shots on Target

Helping Maehle run riot down the left is Mikkel Damsgaard. The Sampdoria winger plays just ahead of his team mate and causes havoc in equal measure. He averages 1.56 hots on target per 90 for his country and it’s no coincidence either. He plays very high up the park and loves a strike from distance, as well as being a threat inside the box too. We can expect to see Mikkel Damsgaard to Have One or More Shots on Target.

Vladimir Coufal To be Booked

Coufal was one of the most impressive full-backs in the Premier League last season but he does love a tackle and, committing over a foul a game, could land himself in trouble in Baku – especially coming up directly against Maehle and Damsgaard.
