Paddy ambassador and former Liverpool, Inter Milan and Manchester United midfield enforcer Paul Ince has a high hopes for Wales. They tackle Denmark in the first Euro 2020 last 16 knockout clash on Saturday and will be looking to go on a dream run just like they did five years ago.
Denmark stormed into the knockout phases courtesy of a thrilling 4-1 win over Russia while Wales got the job done early doors and were afforded a 1-0 loss to Italy in their final group match. This looks a finely-poised encounter but Ince thinks he knows how it’s going to go.
First and foremost, I think everyone’s really, really pleased that Denmark got through to the last 16. Given what happened with Christian Eriksen, I think it’s the story of the tournament. The fact that they were fairly impressive against the Russians, it means they’re bang in form going into the last 16.
They’ll be really, really confident, as will the Welsh.
No one could probably see this Wales side getting through to the last 16 but history can repeat itself and in 2016 they got through to the semi-finals. The Welsh are more than capable of beating this Danish side.
Saturday 5pm: Wales v Denmark BBC One and BBC iPlayer/ RTE
The way Wales play, they seem to go long pretty quick, setting themselves up for free kicks, winning fouls, with Bale and Dan James putting ball in the box.

It’s going to be a tough game. If Gareth Bale and Aaron Ramsey show up, if Kieffer Moore shows up, then I think Wales could probably Win this one. I think Kieffer Moore could score first.
The way Wales play, they seem to go long pretty quick, setting themselves up for free kicks, winning fouls, with Bale and Dan James putting ball in the box.
In terms of a NAP, because of the way Wales play and like to set their team up, getting balls into the box, I fancy Moore to get the first goal of the game. So, I’m going for Wales to just nick this one 2-1 with Kieffer Moore to Score Anytime.
Ince’s Wales v Denmark tips
Wales to Win
Kieffer Moore to Score First
NAP: Wales to Win 2-1 and Moore to Score Anytime
