France and Portugal both have hopes of winning Group F. While France are already confirmed as making it through to the last 16, Portugal could still miss out with a heavy loss.

Wednesday 8pm: Portugal v France BBC One and BBC iPlayer
The world champions have already qualified for the last 16 but will want to make sure they get a win here to secure top spot and ensure an easier tie in the next round. Although they surprisingly dropped points to Hungary, I think they’ll bounce back in some fashion here with a France Win. Portugal, on the other hand, were lucky not to lose by more against Germany and go into this knowing they are through as long as they don’t lose by 3+ goals and so won’t take any unnecessary risks throwing men forward.
The Barcelona man has enjoyed success in the 10 role since Karim Benzema’s re-introduction and should line up in the same position here. He was one of the brighter players against Hungary and scored the equaliser. I think we’ll see Antoine Griezmann Have 1 or More Shots on Target.
Does Cristiano Ronaldo to Have 1 or More Shots really need explaining? The record breaking goal scorer already has three goals at the Euros and will be keen to add to that here. He has a knack of stepping up when it matters and his country need him to have a big game here. With an average of over 2 shots on target per match, I’m confident he will grab at least one more against the world champions.
As mentioned, Portugal need to avoid defeat by 3 or more goals to qualify and I can see a lot of cynical, time wasting fouls as a result. Their squad contains a lot of players with high fouls conceded stats in Danilo Pereira, William Carvalho, Renato Sanches etc and I can only see the situations from level of opposition adding to that. Don’t be surprised if we see Over 1.5 Cards for Portugal here.
