Football Tips: Paddy trader’s NAP for Sweden v Slovakia on Friday

Sweden and Slovakia but got positive results in their opening Euro 2020 matches, with the Swedes grinding out a 0-0 draw with Spain and Slovakia stunning Poland 2-1. It sets the group up beautifully with these two having serious hopes of qualifying for the next round.

We’ll expect to see more from Sweden here as they parked the bus big time against the Spanish. Slovakia probably had the rub of the green in their first match but which way does Paddy football trader Emmet O’Keeffe think this one’s going to go?

I fancy Sweden to Win very strongly here, even though they played very defensively against Spain they still had a couple of decent chances on the counter attack. I think they’ll certainly show more attacking intent against Slovakia, I just thought Slovakia were quite fortunate against Poland.

Poland got a red card and Slovakia’s goal came from an own goal and a goal from a set piece. I think Sweden will be very tight defensively, I can see them edging this, maybe one or two nil but ultimately a very comfortable Sweden win here.
