Tuesday evening sees three teams involved in this year’s Euros playing their final pre-tournament friendlies. We’ll be taking a look at Poland taking on Iceland, Czech Republic hosting Albania and France entertaining Bulgaria.

Finally, we’re off to South America for a fascinating match-up between Colombia vs Argentina in a World Cup Qualification match at midnight. Let’s find some value in the betting markets.

NEW TO PADDY POWER?

17:00 Poland v Iceland: Poland To Win To Nil

Poland could only manage a 1-1 draw last week against Russia. Both teams didn’t exactly go for it though, as both managers used the match to try out their respective ‘Plan Bs’. You might be feeling a bit nervous if you’re a Polish fan, the home side have won just one of their last six matches and that was against Andorra.

Iceland too aren’t exactly the world-beaters they once were. Of their last 10 games they’ve only won two, and they were against Liechtenstein and the Faroe Islands. They lost all eight of the others.

Poland’s home form is pretty good though, as they’ve kept Italy, Bosnia, Ukraine and, yes, Andorra, scoreless over their last six home games. Meanwhile, Iceland’s scoring woes have seen them drawing a blank in three of their last six on their travels.

19:15 Czech Republic v Albania: Czech Republic To Win To Nil

Czech Republic were given a walloping by Italy last week in Bologna, losing 4-0 on the night and could be in for a rough time of it at the Euros where they’ll face Croatia and England. They have to face Scotland too in their opening match and whoever comes out on top there, may qualify in third place. Regardless, Czech’s home form is actually quite good, winning three of their last five.

Albania are actually unbeaten over their last seven away matches, winning four and drawing three. However, they’ve failed to score in three of their last five away matches – they were against Kazakhstan, Lithuania and Wales, and the Czechs are a good bit better than those sides. With home advantage the Czechs should come out on top here and, with Albania struggling for goals, they should keep a clean sheet too.

20:10 France vs Bulgaria: France (-2)

France’s Group F looks like it’s going to be a belter with Germany, Portugal and Hungary making up the four teams. France have only one home match (against Germany), so expect to see manager Didier Deschamp naming a strong starting XI here as they need a positive result in their opener against Germany next week. The French have won five of their last six matches, drawing the other and kept three clean sheets over those six games.

Bulgaria have won one of their last 14 matches, on the road they can also boast the same stat and of their last nine away matches have scored a total of two away goals. The handicap France (-2) is the best shout here – especially with their record of clean sheets and Bulgaria’s lack of goals.

(Wednesday morning) 00:00 Colombia v Argentina: Both Teams to Score

Colombia currently sit in sixth place in the South American Qualification table, but they’re only off the qualification spots on goal difference. The Colombians have won two, drawn one and lost two of their five games so far. Meanwhile, Argentina are unbeaten over their five – winning three and drawing two.

Colombia have won two, drawn two and lost one of their last five on home soil, while Argentina have won four of their last five on the road.

Four of the last five games played between the sides in Colombia have seen Both Teams to Score landing and the Colombians have scored nine and conceded 11 over their WC Qualifiers so far. Argentina have netted seven and conceded three.

Argentina’s defence is probably the best in the league, but they’ve conceded four over their last five away games and rarely are allowed leave Colombia without conceding.

Tuesday tips summary:

17:00 Poland v Iceland: Poland To Win To Nil
19:15 Czech Republic v Albania: Czech Republic To Win To Nil
20:10 France vs Bulgaria: France (-2)
(Wednesday) 00:00 Colombia v Argentina: Both Teams to Score
