Paddy’s football ambassador Phil Thompson is looking forward to a tasty-looking FA Cup Final on Saturday between Chelsea and Leicester at Wembley. Both sides have had contrasting results during the week but it’s all eyes on silverware this weekend.

NEW TO PADDY POWER?

Thommo, an FA Cup winner with Liverpool, knows what it takes to get your hands on the famous old trophy and he’s here to give you a steer for the big game. So, here’s the Kop idol with his best bets for the FA Cup final.

Chelsea v Leicester

I don’t think there’s too much pressure on Thomas Tuchel. He changed his team against Arsenal and they came unstuck which again has thrown everything up in the air. I know Leicester got beat by Newcastle which shocked everybody and Manchester United changed the whole team to play against them and Leicester come out 2-1 winners at Old Trafford.

This is a difficult one but I do think Chelsea are in a better place, I really do. They’ve scored 19 goals from set plays, they’ve got the second-best defence in the Premier League, conceding 32 goals and I just feel like Chelsea have got the upper hand.

The Arsenal game was a little bit, maybe, just relaxation, especially after beating Manchester City last weekend. I do fancy Chelsea to Win the FA Cup Final and isn’t it a shame that it’s wrapped up in a lot of Premier League games when it used to be set up on it’s own and it was a wonderful day. But not anymore.

I think the big player for the big games is becoming Mason Mount. He does seem to rise to the occasion and I think he’s going to be a wonderful player for England because he has that knack, from a midfield position, of scoring vital goals.

THOMMO’S TIPS: I think Jamie Vardy is the man to Score for Leicester and I think Both Teams will Score in this one, but I’m going for Chelsea just to win it 2-1. I’ve also got Mount to Score Anytime for Chelsea.

Thommo’s Tips

Chelsea to Win 2-1
Both Teams To Score
Jamie Vardy to Score Anytime
Mason Mount to Score Anytime
