18:00: Man Utd v Leicester – Over 2.5 Goals

BT Sport 1

I’m hesitant to pick either side to win the game considering how weak United’s team could be given the demanding schedule of three matches in five days. It’s also hard to have faith in Leicester given their failure to beat 10-man Southampton and then looking an absolute shambles defensively against Newcastle.

Jonny Evans got injured in the warm up and they were 4-0 down before pulling a couple back to make the scoreline a little more respectable.

I wouldn’t expect Brendan Rodgers to play more defensively as this game against a potential weakened United side is one of their easiest in the run in. They still face Chelsea and Tottenham in the coming weeks.

Expect goals in this one with Jamie Vardy and Kelechi Iheanacho causing United’s makeshift defence plenty of problems.

United will likely play with a lot of freedom considering they don’t have anything to play for and Champions League football for next season is wrapped up. Given that, Over 2.5 Goals makes a lot of sense.

20:15: Southampton v Crystal Palace – Christian Benteke to Score Anytime

Sky Sports Main Event/Sky Sports Premier League

Southampton aren’t half as potent in attack without Danny Ings and the striker is set to be absent once again. The bet I like here is Christian Benteke to Score Anytime.

Up until this season, Benteke had been awful but he’s improved this time out. He has seven goals in 27 games and he’s only started 18 of those matches.

Benteke, who has Palace’s highest xG (Expected Goals) this season, opened the scoring at Sheffield United on the weekend. Him to score anytime is a smart punt.

Tuesday’s betting tips summary:

18:00: Man Utd v Leicester – Over 2.5 Goals
20:15: Southampton v Crystal Palace – Christian Benteke to Score Anytime
