Are you slightly concerned if you’re Leicester City? Just two wins in their last five Premier League games hasn’t hampered them completely and they’re a short, short price to secure Champions League football even still. But, another bad result and they’re entering dangerous territory.

It’s not just the results, but the opposition against whom they’re under-performing. Shipping four to Newcastle should raise serious alarm, as well as the 1-1 draw with Southampton the previous week. They are naturally a talented group and should have more than enough, but they’re in dire need of a positive result to stem the flow of the negativity.

Manchester United are the opposition midweek, and luckily for the Foxes, they represent both a potential glamour result and a side who would probably settle for a draw. Their goal of finishing second is all but landed and a draw against tough opposition with a nightmare fixture schedule and Europa League final on the horizon would be a solid game-management strategy.

Despite both sides’ attacking prowess, I get the feeling this could be a very subdued affair. Not terrific as a spectacle admittedly – but the only thing we love more than exciting football is predictable football. Time to outfox the traders, as it were.

The Draw

No matter what way it happens, either side taking the impetus here will quickly be cancelled out by the other – simply because neither will care a tonne about piling on. Call it counter-intuitive as both of these sides are thoroughly exciting for the variety of ways in which they can score goals, as well as the amount of players in either side capable of same. But, when both managers are happy with a point, it tends to transpire as such.

I can’t see a situation where, when one side scores, they’ll throw 10 behind the ball – but I equally don’t envisage a tonne of sustained pressure in the opposition’s third of the pitch. Snorefest? Hopefully.

Half-Time: The Draw

The only way this game goes one way or the other is due to a moment of magic, or because one team is performing so embarrassingly at half-time that they get a hairdryer from their respective gaffer at the break.

Now, Brendan Rodgers is about as intimidating as a cheesecake on an empty stomach and Ole Gunnar just wants everyone to be friends, so I doubt it comes. What that translates to, is that a draw at half-time is a bigger surety than the full-time result and it would be remiss of me not to include it in the Bet Builder.

Brendan Rodgers

Under 2.5 Goals

Would you really be bothered? United’s come-from-behind gear is their primary contributor to them lashing in goals and when they’re in a game environment when they’re not pushed, they’re quite lethargic.

It’s almost like Ole needs a chip on the players’ shoulders to motivate them rather than relying on gorgeously-rehearsed build-up from his sessions.

Mason Greenwood to Have 3 or More Shots

As always, the youth will try and ruin everything. Having just surpassed Wayne Rooney as the teenager with the most Premier League goals, his naivety and ego are our biggest enemies here.

It’s very difficult to stop a young talent who’s carving out a reputation for himself from trying, and he’ll undoubtedly be shooting on-sight when his teammates are flatter than he wants them to be.
