We’ve got some absolutely cracking clashes in the Premier League on Saturday from the Champions League final dress rehearsal with Chelsea heading to Manchester City to Leeds taking on Tottenham in the early kick off.
Elsewhere Thommo’s beloved Liverpool take another glorified scouting mission to Southampton in the late game. But who’s Thommo backing to bring home the bacon on Saturday?
Thommo’s Saturday Treble
Leeds looked a bit leggy in the surprise 2-0 defeat to Brighton. It was the first defeat in seven for them. Maybe they’ve got to that point in the season where they think, ‘Phew, we’ve done enough’.
Spurs, you know, barring that win last week you’d probably think Leeds have got a chance. But what a boost it was for them, I know it was only against Sheffield United, but you do look at Spurs and they are like that aren’t they? If they get that little bit of confidence then they can have a couple of good results and I do expect Spurs to Win this one.
If City beat Chelsea then they win the title and that will be something big for them. They will be wanting to get that done but they’re going to win it anyway. As we’ve seen with Pep Guardiola he is likely to change things. Chelsea may rest one or two as well.
NEW TO PADDY POWER?
Funnily enough City have lost two of their last three at home. This is going to be delicate, I don’t know where the motivation levels are going to be for both sides even though City can win the league. I’m just going for a slight Man City victory.
Liverpool have only won one of the last 10 at home which is absolutely mad but Southampton are not in a good way. They’ve lost 12 of the last 16 in the Premier League and won just two which is astonishing.
They’ve conceded 59 goals and 15 in the last six. This should go well for Liverpool at home and I’m going for Liverpool to win this.
THOMMO’S TREBLE: So, my treble, which will hopefully make us a little bit of money, I’m going for City to just pip Chelsea, Liverpool to Win and I’m going for Spurs to beat Leeds.

12.30pm: Leeds v Tottenham – Tottenham to Win
17.30pm: Manchester City v Chelsea – Man City to Win
8.15pm: Liverpool v Southampton – Liverpool to Win
