We’ve got another action packed Sunday sporting feast this weekend with plenty of interesting and important games across Europe. We’ll be taking the sights and sounds of the Turkish Super Lig, Serie A, Ligue 1 and La Liga along the way.

There’s loads on the line with a big game in the Spanish title race and the battle for continental qualification in Turkey, Italy and France. I think I’ve unearthed some big-value plays so let’s get stuck into our Sunday night Euro acca.

6.30pm: Genclerbirligi v Galatasaray

Galatasaray head east to face Genclerbirligi in our first match and Gala have work to do to get into the Champions League next season. They’re third in the Turkish Super Lig with a point to make up on bitter rivals Fenerbahce over the remaining four games.

They’ll be expecting nothing less than a convincing win against second-bottom Genclerbirligi this weekend. They’re rightly the big favourites so I’ll bolt Over 2.5 Goals on to this selection.

Overs has landed in the hosts’ last five games which have seen a remarkable 19 goals. Gala have been much tighter but with Genclerbirligi going down swinging we can expect them to make hay here with a Galatasaray Win and Over 2.5 Goals.

7.45pm: Sampdoria v Roma

A really finely-poised clash sees 7th-placed Roma heading to Sampdoria who sit in 9th. Roma had a decent chance of challenging for a Champions League place but one win in the last seven Serie A games means they’re now fighting what looks like a losing battle for a Europa League spot.

Sampdoria, on the other hand, have won three of their last six, losing two and drawing the other one. They like to keep things tight while Roma’s plan seems to be to try and outscore the opposition.

However, that’s clearly not working and, fresh off a 6-2 hammering at the hands of Manchester United on Thursday, we’re opposing them here. Their opponents are in the better form, will be more rested and have the home advantage so we’re backing Sampdoria to Win this one at really nice odds.

8pm: Monaco v Lyon

We’ve got four games left in Ligue 1 and this is an absolutely mouth-watering clash as Monaco in 3rd host Lyon in 4th. The principality club have a precious four-point lead over Lyon and a win here would surely secure their passage into the Champions League group stages next season and realistically end Lyon’s hopes.

Monaco are in sensational form as well. They’ve won five on the bounce and also 14 of their last 17 games. With that taken into consideration I’m surprised they’re not a shade or two shorter to win this game.

Lyon are imploding and have won just two of their last six with a damaging 3-2 loss to surprise-package Lille last time out. Lyon are the best team the hosts have played for a while but, with the form they’re in and the price available, we have to be on the Monaco Win in this one.

8pm: Valencia v Barcelona

This game’s got goals written all over it as Barcelona in 2nd head to Valencia down in 14th. Barca surprisingly lost at home to Granada last time out in the latest title twist in Spain where nobody seemingly wants the title.

It was just the third time they failed to win in their last 18 league games, though. Valencia haven’t won in five and should have no right to expect to get anything out of this game. Barcelona are obviously the play and again we can get decent odds by adding Over 2.5 Goals.

Overs has landed in five of the home side’s six last league games and in seven of Barcelona’s last six. There have been 17 goals in Valencia’s last six games (an average of 2.8) and Barcelona have seen 24 (4 per game). So, with a combined aggregate of 3.4 goals per game between these two I think it will pay to back Barcelona and Over 2.5 Goals.
