One Paddy Power customer has found themselves more than €6k richer after sealing a spectacular football five-fold on Saturday night.
The lucky punter from Limerick placed a speculative €2 stake on a mega 3,058/1 five-leg acca and was richly rewarded when every single selection clicked.
That meant a bumper payout of €6,117, which is sure to brighten anyone’s day.
Our victor utilised matches from the Premier League, Bundesliga, Portuguese Liga NOS and even the Dutch Eredivisie to compile their winning combination – so here is how the cash was claimed.

The parlay fivefold kicked off in relatively straightforward fashion, with Chelsea pumping London rivals Crystal Palace 4-1 away from home thanks to a double from Christian Pulisic and goals from Kai Havertz and Kurt Zouma.
At short odds-on, backing the Blues doesn’t seem like a very inspired selection but we’re just getting warmed up. While Thomas Tuchel’s men were running wild at Selhurst Park, Stuttgart were giving his old side (and odds-on favourites) Borussia Dortmund a scare in Germany.
Sasa Kalajdzic put Stuttgart into an early lead and, while goals from Jude Bellingham and Marco Reus had fired Dortmund ahead, Daniel Didavi looked to have sealed a point for the home side 12 minutes from time.
However, a late strike from Ansgar Knauff – set up by boy-wonder Erling Haaland – ensured Dortmund nicked all three points with a 3-2 victory and kept out punter’s accumulator alive.
Now the remaining three legs of the bet came courtesy of our #WhatOddsPaddy bets. Starting with FC Porto’s visit to Tondela, our customer liked the look of the 10/1 price offered on the Portuguese giants to win both halves and Porto to have most corners in each half.
Goals from Toni Martinez and Mehdi Taremi either side of the break – and a dominant corner count of 6-1 – sealed that selection in style.
On to Holland, and AZ Alkmaar secured an identical bet against Sparta Rotterdam with their 2-0 win on home turf. Jordy Clasie and Dani de Wit were both on the scoresheet while six corners before half-time and another pair after the break meant it was job done.
And that brought everything down to the final leg of the accumulator – Benfica’s trip to Pacos Ferreira in Saturday’s late kick-off.
Nerves may have been jangling in Limerick but there was nothing to worry about as the reigning Portuguese champions battered their hosts 5-0.
Diego Goncalves opened the scoring while Rafa and Haris Seferovic made the points safe before the break.
Thankfully, Benfica didn’t take their foot off the gas and late goals from Seferovic and Darwin Nunez secured the ‘win both halves’ section of the bet while their corner count of 11 (four before half-time and seven after) comfortably landed the last leg.
That brilliant display of betting meant a whopping total of €6,117 was soon winging its way into our customer’s account.
All that’s left to say is well done and welcome to our Punting Hall of Fame!
