Even when Thiago Silva got sent off against West Brom last week, I still thought they’d have enough to beat Big Sam’s men. They’re usually solid defensively and they were at home, so I still thought they’d have enough but clearly not. It was astonishing that they shipped five goals.

But the way they bounced back from that 5-1 beating last Saturday against Porto in the Champions League was astonishing.

Palace will have their work cut out but they’re not on a bad run themselves. They’ve lost just one of their last six in the Premier League. They’ve kept clean sheets at home recently but it’s a tall order for Palace, especially after Chelsea bounced back in the Champions League.

I’m going for Chelsea to win 3-1 as I fancy Palace to score at home. I also reckon Mason Mount will be one of Chelsea’s scorers.
