RB Leipzig v Bayern Munich – Draw

One of the games of the day in Europe is at the Red Bull Arena, and the BT cameras are there as second-placed RB Leipzig attempt to close the gap on league leaders Bayern Munich to just one point.

Saturday, 5:30pm: RB Leipzig v Bayern Munich

Live on BT Sport 1

These two heavyweights drew 3-3 in the reverse fixture earlier in the season, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see a similar outcome in this game.

New to Paddy Power?

Bayern will be missing Robert Lewandowski who has been ruled out for month following a knee injury sustained on international duty. Any team in the world would miss the big Polish striker, but Bayern have plenty of other options up front and should be able to make their presence felt.

Bayern’s problems all season have been down the other end. Hansi Flick’s side have conceded 35 goals across their 26 league games, managing only one clean sheet in their last six outings. That leaky defence will hold no fears for a Leipzig side that have won ten and drawn two of their 13 league matches on their own turf.

These teams look evenly matched on paper and I expect that to be reflected in the score line, and it’s a point Bayern will be happy with as they plough on towards another Bundesliga title.

PSG v Lille – PSG to win to nil

We’re off to France next for another top-versus-second clash. Only goal difference separates PSG and Lille and this clash at Parc des Princes will go a long way towards deciding the Ligue 1 title’s destination.

Saturday, 4pm: PSG v Lille

Live on BT Sport Extra 3

Mauricio Pochettino eased the pressure on himself just before the international break with a superb 4-2 victory away at Lyon. Neymar and Angel Di Maria have recently returned from injury and PSG have a near full-strength attack.

Neymar

They should have too much firepower for a Lille outfit who have struggled lately. They have won only three of their last ten games, including a 3-0 reverse to PSG in the French Cup two games back and they have really struggled to score against PSG specifically, failing to find the net in their last four meetings.

The value in this market is again backing the hosts to win to nil. The French title has developed into a four-team scramble with Lyon and Monaco also Involved. But I’m expecting PSG to show their class here and throw down a marker to the rest.
