New to Paddy Power?
There is a full book of Championship matches on Friday but only a couple of those matches grabbed the attention for a BTTS bet so I’ve looked further afield and threw in an Irish and Spanish match to fill the four-fold.
15:00 QPR v Coventry – Yes
In the last four head to heads at Loftus Road there has been a total of 12 goals scored, an average of three goals per game. The both teams to score bet clicked in all four matches too.
Friday, 15.00: QPR v Coventry
Livescore App
On a cautionary note, Coventry haven’t scored in their last two matches but I’m a great believer in the laws of averages and the balance of probabilities. Coventry are due a goal and I’ll add this match to the bet.
17:30 Barnsley v Reading – Yes
I’m putting Barnsley v Reading down as the banker of our both teams to score bet. The last four head-to-heads at Oakwell we’ve seen both teams hit the back of the net. More recently these teams have been scoring with regularity too which certainly helps.
Friday, 17.30: Barnsley v Reading
Sky Sports Football
Barnsley have bagged seven goals in their last three matches whilst reading have managed to score at least one goal in each of their last six games.
17:45 Longford Town v Sligo Rovers – Yes
Surprisingly none of the other scheduled Championship matches catch the eye for a BTTS bet so I’ve gone to Spain and the heart of Ireland for the next two picks. It’s at the very early stages of the League of Ireland but both Longford Town and Sligo Rovers find themselves in an unfamiliar place near the top of the table after two games played. In fact, should either team win this match they would go top and hence I expect an exciting and open affair at Strokestown Road.

Both teams have scored in the last five head-to-heads at Longford and also in seven of the last nine head to heads at all venues. There may be more glamourous affairs elsewhere but I’m putting my BTTS coupon tick on this game.
20:00 Levante v Huesca – Yes
Levante v Huesca would hardly be a game to get even the most avid football supporter excited but it’s the only La Liga match on Friday night (KO 8pm) so bear with me. I always tell myself it’s the stats that count and let’s hope these two teams can repeat the score-line of any one of their last four head-to-heads.
Friday, 20.00: Levante v Huesca
La Liga TV
In those last four head-to-heads we’ve had a total of 15 goals and both teams scored. Curiously the last three of those games finished in a score draw. Huesca are rooted at the foot of the table, but they are quite adept at scoring away from home and even managed to bang one in against Barcelona away a couple of weeks ago. They’ve scored 14 goals on the road which is an average of a goal a game and one goal is all we need from them here!
Remember to only bet for fun and entertainment. Be lucky!
