Football Tips: Thommo's 2 best bets for Liverpool v Fulham on Sunday

Paddy’s football ambassador Phil Thompson is more then a little worried about Liverpool’s game with Fulham on Sunday. Oh, how the mighty have fallen.

The Kop idol is still backing his boys, but their resent results make for grim reading while Fulham are definitely on the improve. So, without further ado, here’s Thommo’s preview and best bets for Liverpool v Fulham.

Sunday 2pm: Liverpool v Fulham

It’s must win, this. One of the worst things when we rolled out the statistics is that Fulham are unbeaten in their last seven away. Six of them have been draws. They’ve got more points away from home, have Fulham.

This is an awful one for me. They’ve won two of the last five Premier League games, but they’ve only won four of the last 27 Premier League games, Fulham. So as you can see they’re just slightly getting better.

But Liverpool, where do you start? They’ve lost five of their last six and seven of 11 in the Premier League. Their last three wins have been away at Spurs, West Ham and Sheffield United. We have failed to score in seven of the last 12 Premier League games which is absolutely rotten.

This has to turn round. I’m going for Liverpool to Win To Nil in this game. I think we will keep a clean sheet. Fulham will be looking to get a draw out of this so they will be defending very deep.

They will have watched Chelsea playing with five at the back and I think they will do that as well. I do think we’ll have a bit of an angry Mo Salah after he was brought off against Chelsea.

I’m backing Salah to Score Anytime, without a doubt. I know that’s no great shock to everybody! Don’t be surprised if he brags a brace. I think he’ll be angry, he’ll be up for it and maybe very selfish.
