It things weren’t looking bad enough for Steve Bruce and Newcastle then more injuries to key players will have really hit home this week. There’s discord behind the scenes at the training ground and with the fan base. But can they get a moral-boosting win away at West Brom? Our trader isn’t so sure.
12pm: West Brom v Newcastle
This is a cliched relegation six-pointer here. Newcastle are significantly weakened in terms of their injuries. Top scorer Callum Wilson is out with a hamstring injury and last week they lost Miguel Almiron and Allan Saint-Maximin for an extended period of time.

I think those injuries are potentially the difference between Newcastle playing Premier League and Championship football next year. To give you an indication of what Newcastle are missing, only four of their players have scored two league goals or more and three of those are now absent.
Only two Newcastle players have three assists or more and they’re both absent so I think Newcastle are down to the bare bones here. I think it’s a great opportunity for West Brom to take advantage and Win here.
