It’s not the most appetising game here between two low-scoring teams. Southampton have really struggled in front of goal since the turn of the year and usually Southampton go as their star striker Danny Ings goes.
Saturday 3pm: Sheffield United v Southampton Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League
I think he’s only scored two goals in nine league games since the turn of the year and I can’t quite see how Southampton are as short as they are here. For a bet here I would lean towards Sheffield United to Win. I can see this being a very, very tight game but Southampton are just a little too short for me.
I think this is two teams who are hard to trust. Villa are likely to be without their talisman Jack Grealish and Wolves’ form has been very patchy this season. It’s probably a low-scoring game here but the bet I would look at is the Villa wide player Anwar El Ghazi to Score First.
Saturday 5.30pm: Aston Villa v Wolves Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League
El-Ghazi will be on penalty duty which is quite important. He’s also scored six goals in less than 10 starts. I think if you’re looking for a bet here El Ghazi to Score First is probably the best bet.
I think we’re starting to see a bit of slippage from Leicester. Their key wide forward, Harvey Barnes, is ruled out for six months and also their star attacker James Maddison will also be out here so Jamie Vardy will be left to plough his own furrow up front. It’s hard to trust Leicester here and Brighton, as has been widely documented, struggle to get over the line even when they dominate games.
Saturday 8pm: Brighton v Leicester Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League
I was looking in the goalscorer markets for a bet here and the one I landed on was Timothy Castagne to Score Anytime at double-figure odds. Castagne can either play full-back or wing-back but Brendan Rodgers seems to be going for a 3-5-2 formation in which the wing-backs are quite far forward. I expect Castagne and Ricardo Pereira to get forward and the former to get a chance.
